Hello, I'm Luka

My name is Luka Tsereteli, and I am a journalist and media professional passionate about the future of storytelling, technology, and truth. I’ve been on TV air since the age of 13, and over the years I’ve worked across nearly every major television channel in Georgia. Those experiences gave me a deep understanding of journalism and media — both its strengths and its struggles — and shaped my vision for what journalism must become in the digital era.
I started this blog to share my experiences, connect with professionals in the industry, and engage with people who, like me, are concerned about the future of media and journalism. My goal is to build a space where we can discuss how to adapt, innovate, and ensure journalism continues to serve the public in an age of rapid technological change.
My latest Experiences
Investigative Journalism & PR/Marketing - "Ifact.ge"

At iFact, I worked with the investigative team to transform the organization’s social media presence and public engagement. We adapted complex investigative stories for TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram, making them accessible to younger audiences without losing accuracy. I also collaborated on PR and branding strategies that helped position iFact as a modern investigative media outlet.
Executive Program Manager -"Sfero Holding / Sfero TV"

I oversaw TV broadcast production and digital content development, essentially serving as the second person in charge of the station. My focus was fusing traditional broadcasting with strong social media strategies, helping the company expand its reach and build an engaged audience.
Content Specialist -"Alte University"

I was hired to pioneer TikTok strategy for Alte University, making it one of the first universities in Georgia to launch on the platform. I led campaigns across TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram, producing multilingual content in Georgian and English. These efforts positioned Alte University as a leader in digital innovation within the higher education sector.
Media Manager - "JSN Media"
At JSN Media, I developed and managed two TikTok channels that collectively attracted over 50,000 followers. I led a team focused on making news accessible to Gen Z, refining strategies with analytics and creative storytelling that brought younger audiences into conversations about current events.
Television Host - Formula TV
I hosted Chat, the first teen-focused TV show in Georgia in more than a decade. It quickly became one of the most-watched programs in the country, giving young people a voice and reshaping youth-focused content on Georgian television. This role strengthened my skills in public speaking, journalism, and connecting with diverse audiences.
Looking Forward
From traditional television to investigative journalism to digital-first storytelling, I’ve built my career on adapting to change and finding new ways to connect with people. I believe the future of journalism belongs to those who embrace technology without losing integrity.
Through this blog, I aim to share insights from my journey, highlight challenges and opportunities in media, and connect with others who believe journalism must innovate to survive and thrive.
